Dinosaur was a chairlift that served Hyak from 1965 to 1988. It was an up-and-over twin slope double chairlift. At the time, Hyak owner Bill Romans claimed it was "the only one of its kind."

Once, in 1971, It went in reverse. It was fixed and continued to operate until 1988. In 2010, it was replaced by 2 lifts, one triple and one double, and then the double was replaced by another triple in 2022.
